
Chairman
Mr. Berger is currently chairman of
the Supervisory Board of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
In 1962 he graduated with a degree in business from
the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich. In
1962, he became a consultant at one of today’s
leading American consulting companies in Milan and
Boston. He later became partner. In 1967, he founded
Roland Berger & Partners, later going on to develop
Roland Berger Strategy Consultants from a one-man firm
into one of the world’s leading strategy consultancies
with 32 offices in 22 countries. He is honorary Professor
for General Business Administration and Management
Consulting at the Brandenburg Technical University
in Cottbus. He is Honorary Consul General of the Republic
of Finland in Bavaria and Thuringia, and a member of
the council of the Technical University of Munich.
Roland Berger sits on a number of boards including:
the International Management Institute, Kiev; the Trustees
member of the Council of the Technical University in
Munich; the Business School INSEAD, Fontainbleau and
the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies
at the John Hopkins University (AICGS). He also a member
of a number of international advisory boards including:
Alcan, Montreal: EM.TV, Munich; Sony Corporation, Tokyo. |
