
Director, Innovation & Technology
Robert Peugeot was born on April 25, 1950. He graduated
from Ecole Centrale de Paris and earned an MBA at INSEAD
in France.
Mr Peugeot began his career at Peugeot in 1975 as
manager of the Peugeot-Citro ë n Strategic Planning
Department in Johannesburg, South Africa. After serving
as an R&D engineer at Peugeot and a body shop methods
engineer at Citro ë n, he became Director of Citro ë n’s
mechanical components plant in Asni è res outside
Paris. Two years later, he became Managing Director
of Peugeot Talbot Motor Company in Coventry.
After returning from the United Kingdom in 1985,
Mr Peugeot held several positions at Citro ë n,
first Planning and Programs Manager and then Vice President,
Organization and Information Systems, a position he
held until February 1998, when he was appointed to
his present position in the Group’s new organization.
Mr Peugeot is now Executive Vice President, Innovation
and Quality of PSA Peugeot-Citro ë n, and a member
of the Group’s Executive Committee.
He has also served as Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of FPP (Fonci è re, Financi è res
et Participations) since December 19, 2002.
