Lisa Dennison studied at Wellesley and Brown before
pursuring a career in fine arts. She joined the Solomon
R Guggenheim Museum in New York in 1978 as an exhibition
co-ordinator, rising to the position of Deputy Director
and Chief Curator in 1996. As well as teaching, she
has published many articles, catalogues and books.
Ms Dennison in on the Boards of Directors of the American
Association of Museum Curators and the Byrd-Hoffman Foundation.
She is a founding member of the Creative Arts Advisory
Board, Brown University; is on the New York Committee
of the Wellesley College Friends of Art; and a of ArtTable. |
